THEY'RE NOT OLD FASHIONED OR OUT OF DATE
A sad fact is that 99 times out of 100 when you ask a person to think of
a magician, they will conjure up an imagine of an old man in tails
pulling a rabbit out a hat. Slightly Unusual are young, dynamic and
relevant. Their presentational style combines pop culture and hilarious
comedy, in order to bring you an experience you will never forget.
SLIGHTLY UNUSUAL ARE A TEAM
There are three performers in Slightly Unusual, two guys and a girl.
This girl is not an assistant; she is as much as a performer as the
guys. Whereas most magic acts consist of a magician or a magician and an
assistant that generally stands there and smiles, Slightly Unusual's
group dynamic allows them to perform sequences that no other act could
even attempt.
THEY'RE NOT GOING TO PULL A RABBIT OUT OF A HAT
A lot of magic shows use the same tricks that have been seen for
centuries. Ones that everyone has seen - even your grandparents have
probably seen them! However Slightly Unusual use cutting edge illusions,
many custom made especially for their show. They even lecture to
magicians on how to perform magic The only place you will see what they
do, is by booking them or going to one of their shows.
SLIGHTLY UNUSUAL ARE FUNNY
Illusionists aren't traditionally funny, preferring to look cool and
mysterious. Slightly Unusual are unique in that they are THE comedy
illusionists. They combine their magic with comedic situational set
pieces to make you laugh over and over again. To them your enjoyment is
